Current Competitive Team List

The purpose of the Competitive Team is to give jumpers with advanced jump rope skills the opportunity to have experiences competing at the local, regional, and nation level. The Jumpin' Jaguars are the only competitive jump rope team in Kentucky; therefore, they must travel to compete.

The Competitive Jump Rope year is divided into 2 seasons. Team members will be required to purchase the year's selected team shoe, as well as purchase a team uniform and practice t-shirt(s).

The Fall Season will begin September 3rd and end December 31st. The registration fee for the Fall Season will be approximately $130, which will include 3 ropes, AAU and USA Jump Rope Memberships. In the Fall, Competitive Team members must participate in both the Bears Blast in Indianapolis (typically in late october) and the Jump with the Stars workshop in Mason, OH (typically the first weekend in December).

Jumpers who have shown commitment to the sport and to the team, as well as demonstrated the ability to compete will be invited to participate in the Spring Competitive Season.

The registration fee for the Spring Season will be approximately $170, which covers entry fees. During this season, the Jumpin' Jaguars plan to compete in a minimum of 4 non-local competitions (Cincinnati, Indianapolis, AAU Regional Qualifier Atlanta, USA Regional Qualifier (location tbd) and possibly Detroit), plus the Jaguar Jam - the Jumpin' Jaguar sponsored competition in Bowling Green, KY. The Spring Season begins in January and will end ast the first of August for jumpers who advance to the National Level.

Tentative Practice Schedule for the Fall Competitive Team - Required participation on Wednesdays 3:30-5:30 at Natcher, Optional Practices most likely available on Tuesdays 3:30-5:30 at Natcher.

The Spring Season will be 2 required practices (probably Mon. and Wed. and 1-2 optional practice days, which will be announced late in the fall season.
